An adult foraging among the overhanging vegetation that is found along the edge of a pond, and then swimming back to a patch of reeds to continue foraging for small insects.

This is very shy bird, and much of its foraging is in overhanging vegetation at the waters edge, and can be difficult to see when looked for.
