This first accepted record for the Netherlands was present from 01-05-06 till 24-06-06. Probably the same bird was seen again in another part of Amsterdam later that year. A few months later the bird appeared in southern France. In the summer of 2007 it returned to the Netherlands, and in the following autumn it reappeared again in southern France. In october 2008 it was seen in Kent, England.
