Three males, two adult and one juvenile, probably hybrids between Blue-backed Manakin and Helmeted Manakin (Antilophia galeata).

The problem is that the Helmeted Manakin is not known to occur in Serra da Ibiapaba or nearby, but the appearance of these birds strongly suggests a hybrid of Chiroxiphia and Antilophia. These birds were in a group of 4+ individuals, not containing any pure Blue-backed Manakin. The two hybrid adults, both visible in this video, were easy to tell apart, as one has a redish cast on the yellow back, while the other one was purer yellow. The case is currently under study.
