Wayne has a great interest in all wildlife but birds are often the most readily seen. He has lived in Alaska since 1978 and has traveled, photographed and filmed extensively within the state. Still an amateur, he began filming digital video in 2005 and HD video in 2009. Though he does not neglect to film closer to home, Wayne is currently in the seventh year of an endless project to film the birds of the Central American country of Belize. So far he has filmed 260 of the more than 570 species found there. His DVD “The Birds of Belize”, and DVDs on other community-based National Parks in Belize, are provided free of charge to educators and non-profit organizations in Belize for fundraising and educational purposes.IBC Personal statistics:
