Sharyn Staggers

Sharyn was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1969. She graduated from Northeastern State University (Tahlequah, OK) with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Sharyn spent the next 14 years teaching high school math and science in Texas, Minnesota and Virginia. She was named the Duluth, MN Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year in 2000. She is currently a stay at home mother of a beautiful little girl.
Sharyn has always enjoyed watching birds, thanks to her mother’s input as she grew up. She recently started bird-watching as a hobby due to moving to Naples, Florida, where the bird life is abundant. She records birds with her Sony Digital Handycam in one hand and keeps track of her daughter with the other.
