Trinidad and Tobago

Took up amateur birdwatching and photography in 2007 when we purchased a simple point and shoot nikon s4 coolpix camera which allowed me to join my love for nature and birds with my amateur photography skills. Since then I have graduated somewhat to a panasonic lumix DMC-FZ28 with x18 optical zoom. Hopefully I will feel confident enough with my skills to use a DLSR and/or attempt digiscoping one day!I hope to showcase the birds of my native Trinidad and Tobago, especially those from the rural, southern areas which are often overlooked by most visiting birdwatchers. Medical doctor by profession (I always keep my camera handy in case I see or hear a bird while I'm at clinics!)
