Took up amateur birdwatching and photography in 2007 when we purchased a simple point and shoot nikon s4 coolpix camera which allowed me to join my love for nature and birds with my amateur photography skills. Since then I have graduated somewhat to a panasonic lumix DMC-FZ28 with x18 optical zoom. Hopefully I will feel confident enough with my skills to use a DLSR and/or attempt digiscoping one day!I hope to showcase the birds of my native Trinidad and Tobago, especially those from the rural, southern areas which are often overlooked by most visiting birdwatchers.
