Zwolle, The Netherlands
Peter was born in 1952. He lives in the city of Zwolle, in the Netherlands, where he is a biology teacher. He has been watching birds since he was 12 years-old. He is also very active for the birds in Birdlife International (Vogelbescherming Nederland). He tries to do as much as possible to educate children and other people about birds and nature in general.Peter likes to film birds, too, nowadays with a Canon XM 2, which he says is a perfect camera. With some friends he has visited nice birding-places in several European countries, specifically: Ireland (Saltees), Sweden (Falsterbo), Greece (Lesbos and Nestos), Turkey (Menderesdelta), France (Camargue), Spain (Extremadura) and so on. He has also visited the Kruger National Park in South Africa, the Masai Mara in Kenya and the Galapagos Isles (Ecuador). In all these years he has collected many bird movies. In 2007 for the first time he discovered the IBC website and he wanted to become a contributor, too. He hopes you like his videos!
