Born in Yorkshire in 1951 Peter has worked as an engineer for leading UK and Swedish steel manufacturing companies. His interest in birds has expanded over the years to include photography and from 2001 video-photography. Peter has travelled widely in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas and his essays and photographs have been published in specialist magazines, educational textbooks, newspaper articles and tourism promotion material. Peter is a supporter of several wildlife conservation organisations and has worked on projects at home and abroad. All Peter’s clips are hand held usually at 10x optical magnification using his Sony PC110 camcorder.
