Pere Sugranyes

Pere is a naturalist and amateur photographer. He was born in Barcelona, Spain, but at the age of 9 he moved with his family to Colombia, where from the very first moment he felt drawn to the wildlife of that country, which he is still very much connected to today. He currently lives in Catalonia, Spain.
During many years, with his Land Rover (and his Leica) he crossed all of Colombia and part of Ecuador and Peru. When he was 16 he had his first adventure into the Colombian Amazon, going down the Putumayo River.
In 1997 Pere began taking video, using a Panasonic camera with 3 CCD and in 1998 he changed to a Canon XL1.
