Nick Talbot

Nick was born in Newcastle, Australia in 1964 and lives in Melbourne. He started going on trips looking for birds in 1997 after taking a birdwatching cruise down the Daintree River in North Queensland. Since then, he has watched birds in every Australian state and territory as well as the Solomon Islands, Bali (Indonesia), Malaysian Borneo and New Zealand. In January 2004 he got a Nikon Coolpix 4500 and started taking videos of birds. In January 2005 he started using a Swarovski spotting scope and a tripod for digiscoping birds. He now uses a Nikon D7000 DSLR camera for digiscoping and a Nikon 80-400mm lens for photography.
