Nancy lives in Racine, Wisconsin. She is a Registered Nurse with a Master's Degree in Wellness Promotion. From 2000 to 2002, she served in the U.S. Peace Corps, working as a Health Promoter in Nicaragua. She has returned to visit friends in her small community of La Cruz several times.
Nancy has been birding since 1980 while living in southern Wisconsin. She participated in the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology Breeding Bird Atlas. Central and South American forests are her favourite places to go birding; the thicker the better.
Besides being a birding fan, Nancy is also a big fan of Metallica, is a Packers fan -- and am currently totally obsessed with Tree Crickets (Subfamily - Oecanthinae).
