Luc Fazio

Mississauga, Canada

Luc graduated in the University of Toronto, Canada. He has been Teaching Bio-Chemistry for over 35 years and has been passionate about birds and nature for some 40 years. Luc has taught Bird-watching courses with the Toronto Board of Education and has led very successful TOURS, mostly bird-watching tours, to Galapagos, Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru, Cuba, Lesser Antilles, North America, etc.
In his pursuit to see much of the natural habitats on “spaceship earth’, Luc has traveled with friends or tour participants to all the continents on our beautiful planet. In 1990, on a trip to New Zealand, Luc began to use a simple video-camera to record birds and their habitats. Four Video-cameras later, Luc enjoys video-graphy as much as “birding”.
He has seen almost 7000 species of birds. He uses these videos for his Nature classes and to give presentations to Naturalist Clubs. Luc belongs to the Toronto Ornithological Club and is a life member of the Ontario Field Ornithologists.
Luc was born in Italy but lives in Mississauga, Canada. He has 4 married children and 3 grandchildren, thus far; ( only one wife!).
