Trained as an Automotive Engineer. Retired in 1997 and started serious birding in 1998. Until now, I am still not a serious photographer. I love keeping records and have birds pictures taken with a Panasonic "point & shot" In the early years [2002/4] I used a consumer handycam in helping me to learn about bird ID seen during field trips. The result of quality of videos made then, well the birds barely recognisable to myself, as I am the only one who can recall the scene in association with birds. My interest? I spent lot of time, compiling and posting my record on the internet for sharing. I have 2 web sites, one on photos of malaysian birds and another on birding in Malaysia. Now I am experimenting with a contemporary unit, also a consumer handycam. Hope my videos with present days technology will produce meaningful clips.IBC Personal statistics:
