
Julien Rochefort
France
Julien was born in France in 1964 and he lives near Paris. He is an amateur ornithologist and he has been interested in birds since 1996. He enjoys tape-recording bird voices with his Telinga, especially birds’ calls, and afterwards looking at the sonagrams. He possesses quite a large collection of calls and songs of his region’s birds. However, since 2006, Julien has also been catching images of birds, in digiscoping mode. He is an active member of a local nature conservation association, NaturEssonne, whose aim is to study birds and to protect interesting biotopes in the south of Ile- de France, near Paris.IBC Personal statistics:
