Trained and qualified as an Agricultural Scientist and based Almacelles (Segrià), Jordi has worked extensively on dry farming projects in the Lerida plains and the Pyrenees mountains. He is also a nature photographer and is a member of the Association of Spanish Nature Photographers (“Asociación Española de Fotógrafos de Naturaleza”). He has received numerous international and national awards for his work as a photographer. Several of his photos have been published in Volume 6 of the Handbook of the Birds of the World.

Jordi’s exhaustive portfolio is comprised of steppe, water and alpine bird species of Europe, as well as of avian photos taken during his trips to Alaska, Australia, Peru, amongst other locations. He has participated in the photographic documentation for several projects aimed at conserving threatened species and that were produced by public bodies and private NGO’s (Generalitat de Catalunya, Fundacio Natura, SEO).
