John Gregory was born in Manchester,UK in 1959. He's been birding ever since his uncle showed him a common tern whilst on holiday in 1971. After progressing from local patch birding to national twitching, John developed a passion for birding in the oriental region and has a particular fixation with pheasants and pittas. He spends much of his spare time out in Asia and his videos are a by-product from trying to see the more 'skulkier' forest species. He uses a Canon XM2 with a 20x optical zoom with various Raynox converters.IBC Personal statistics:
