Fran was born in Seville, Spain. Since very young he has enjoyed observing nature and this hobby led to his studies in Biology, as well as his professional life. During ten years he directed the local office of the Spanish Ornithological Society (SEO/Birdlife) in Doñana and its delegation in Andalusia. He is currently a technical expert for the Ministry of the Environment of Andalusia, coordinating the wildlife monitoring programmes.IBC Personal statistics:
