"Sandy" Grimwade has been interested in birds for over 40 years, since an enthusiastic biology teacher got him involved in a bird-banding project when he was at school in Scotland. He has birded in Europe, North and Central America. Sandy is a consultant in the scientific publishing business and has worked in The Netherlands, England and the USA. He currently lives in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania with his wife Linda. He has only recently taken up making videos of birds, and plans to document all the species that visit his backgarden feeders and pond.
