Yellow Chat (Epthianura crocea) - HBW 12, p. 625

Other common names: Yellow-breasted Chat

Taxonomy: Epthianura crocea Castelnau and E. P. Ramsay, 1877, Norman River, Queensland, Australia.
Genus name often spelt erroneously as Ephthianura. Genus was in the past sometimes placed in thornbill family (Acanthizidae), and more recent analyses of DNA-DNA hybridization indicate that it belongs with the honeyeaters (Meliphagidae); further study required.
