Taxonomy: Nanodes Musschenbroekii Schlegel, 1873, Hatam, Arfak, New Guinea.
Two subspecies recognized.
Subspecies and Distribution:
- musschenbroekii (Schlegel, 1873) - Vogelkop (Irian Jaya).
- major Neumann, 1924 - C New Guinea from Snow Mts E to Huon Peninsula and Owen Stanley Range.
