Taxonomy: Turtur reichenowi Erlanger, 1901, Somalia.
Forms a superspecies with S. bitorquata, S. decaocto and S. roseogrisea. Monotypic.
Distribution: SE Ethiopia and along R Juba in SW Somalia, along with all its Ethiopian tributaries.
