Taxonomy: Columba arquatrix albinucha Sassi, 1911, Moera, near Fort Beni, north-east Zaire.
Somewhat distantly related to the C. arquatrix superspecies. Monotypic.
Distribution: E Zaire and W Uganda, around Ruwenzori Mts; also Rumpi Hills in W Cameroon.
