Taxonomy: Irrisor Bollei Hartlaub, 1858, Ashanti, Ghana.
Relationships uncertain; possibly closest to P. castaneiceps. Three subspecies recognized.
Subspecies and Distribution:
- bollei (Hartlaub, 1858) - Liberia to S Cameroon and Central African Republic.
- okuensis Serle, 1949 - W Cameroon (Mt Kilum).
- jacksoni (Sharpe, 1890) - S Sudan, and E Zaire to Kenya.
