Taxonomy: Zosterops albogularis Gould, 1837, Murrumbidgee River; error = Norfolk Island.
Member of a species group which includes also Z. lateralis, Z. tenuirostris and Z. inornatus. Closely related to first of those. Monotypic.

Distribution: Norfolk I, E of Australia.
