Taxonomy: Buceros Tickelli Blyth, 1855, Tenasserim, Myanmar.
Often separated with A. austeni in genus Ptilolaemus; the two are often considered conspecific, but differ in some features of plumage and in presence or absence of sexual dimorphism in bill colour. Monotypic.
Distribution: S Myanmar (Tenasserim) and adjacent W Thailand.
