Spanish: Buco Estriado
Taxonomy: Bucco striolatus Pelzeln, 1856, Dourado and Engenho do Capitão Gama, Rio Guapore, Mato Grosso, Brazil.
May form a superspecies with N. radiatus. Two subspecies recognized.
Subspecies and Distribution:
- striolatus (Pelzeln, 1856) - upper Amazon in E Ecuador, E Peru, W & C Brazil, and N Bolivia.
- torridus Bond & Meyer de Schauensee, 1940 - NC Brazil (E Pará S of Amazon).
