Taxonomy: Carpophaga poecilorrhoa Brüggemann, 1876, Minahassa, Sulawesi.
Affinities uncertain; apparently close to Gymnophaps and possibly also to Ducula; alternatively may be related to the cuckoo-dove assemblage (Macropygia/Turacoena/Reinwardtoena). Monotypic.

Distribution: Mountains of N, S & SE Sulawesi.
