Province, south-east China.
Closely
related to O. hosii,
O. cruentus
and, especially, O. traillii;
all, together with O. xanthornus,
form the “Asian black-headed group”. Monotypic.
Distribution: Breeds in SC China (SC Sichuan, NE Yunnan, Guizhou, N Guangxi, N Guangdong); non-breeding SE Thailand and W Cambodia.
