Taxonomy: Columba pulcherrima Scopoli, 1786, Antigua, Panay (Philippines); error = Seychelles.
Forms a superspecies with A. madagascariensis and A. sganzini. Monotypic.
Distribution: Seychelles, on Praslin, Felicité, Silhouette, Frigate, Marianne and Mahé.
