Taxonomy: Cyornis rufigula Wallace, 1865, Manado, Sulawesi.
Affinities uncertain; sometimes thought to form a superspecies with F. dumetoria and F. buruensis, with which it shares the character of a bright blue eyelid (see pages 62, 71). Monotypic.
Distribution: Sulawesi.
