Spanish: Malcoha de Raffles
Taxonomy: Cuculus chlorophæus Raffles, 1822, forests of Sumatra.
Sometimes placed in a monotypic genus Rhinortha, the only malkoha to show marked sexual dimorphism. Two subspecies recognized.
Subspecies and Distribution:
- chlorophaeus (Raffles, 1822) - S Myanmar (Tenasserim), S Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia to Sumatra and N, E & S Borneo.
- fuscigularis (Stuart Baker, 1919) - NW Borneo (Sarawak, NW Kalimantan).
