Subspecies and Distribution:

semirufa (Rüppell, 1840) - W Eritrea and S & W Ethiopia S to SE Sudan and N Kenya.
donaldsoni Sharpe, 1895 - E Ethiopia and adjacent NW Somalia.
intercedens (Cabanis, 1878) - C & SE Kenya and N Tanzania.
