Taxonomy: Zosterops ficedulina Hartlaub, 1866, hilly parts of Príncipe.
Closely related to and possibly forming a superspecies with Z. griseovirescens. Two subspecies recognized.

- ficedulinus Hartlaub, 1866 - Príncipe I, in Gulf of Guinea.
- feae Salvadori, 1901 - São Tomé I, in Gulf of Guinea.
