vaughani Bannerman, 1924, Pemba Island.
Forms
a superspecies with Z. senegalensis and sometimes regarded as
conspecific, but differs in appearance and voice; both sometimes
suggested as being part of a larger superspecies that includes also
Z. abyssinicus, Z. pallidus and Z. poliogastrus.
Monotypic.
Distribution: Pemba I and adjacent coral islets, off NE Tanzania.
