Taxonomy: Moho atriceps Lesson, 1831, Ghana.
Sometimes linked to the babbler family (Timaliidae), but genetic evidence indicates that it belongs within present family. Monotypic.
Distribution: Senegal E to S Chad, Cameroon, Central African Republic and extreme NW DRCongo.
