Taxonomy: Sylvietta neumanni Rothschild, 1908, forest west of Lake Tanganyika, 2000 m, DRCongo.
Affinities uncertain; closely resembles Sylvietta, but differs in behaviour. Monotypic.
Distribution: E DRCongo, SW Uganda, W Rwanda and W Burundi.
