mackinnoni Sharpe, 1891, Kikuyu (= Bugemaia, Kavirondo), Kenya.
Affiliations
unclear; may be closely related to L. collaris. W populations
named as geographical race zenkerianus (described from Younde,
in S Cameroon), but considered inseparable from birds elsewhere in
species’ range. Monotypic.
Distribution: SE Nigeria (Obodu Plateau) and SW Cameroon S to S PRCongo and NW Angola (S at least as far as Quiculungo), and N DRCongo E to extreme W Kenya and S to SW Uganda, W Rwanda, Burundi and NW & N Tanzania.
