Taxonomy: Charadrius macropterus Wagler, 1827, Java.
Has also been placed in monospecific genus Rogibyx; R. tricolor is synonym. Monotypic.
Distribution: Java, possibly on Sumatra and Timor. Almost certainly extinct.
