Taxonomy: Notauges Hildebrandti Cabanis, 1878, Ukamba, Kenya.
May form a superspecies with and formerly considered conspecific with L. shelleyi; both have sometimes been combined in a superspecies with L. pulcher. Monotypic.
Distribution: NC Kenya S to NC Tanzania.
