Taxonomy: Geocichla dumasi Rothschild, 1899, Mount Mada, 3000 feet [c. 915 m], Buru.
Closely related to Z. joiceyi; often regarded as conspecific, but considerable plumage differences. Monotypic.

Distribution: Buru, W of Seram.
