Distribution: Breeds NE India (Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, possibly also Nagaland), C & S China (E Gansu S to Yunnan and Guangxi), NE Myanmar and NW Thailand; non-breeding SW India and Sri Lanka.
