Distribution: S Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, S Mali, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana (to coast in S), Togo, Benin, N Nigeria, S Chad, N Central African Republic, S Sudan, W Ethiopia, W Eritrea, NE DRCongo, Uganda and SW Kenya.Introduced in Caribbean (Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Martinique) and in Hawaiian Is.
