Taxonomy: Psittiparus margaritae Delacour, 1927, Di Linh, Annam, Vietnam.
Until recently considered conspecific with P. gularis, but the two differ somewhat in morphology, plumage and voice. Monotypic.
Distribution: E Cambodia (SE Mondulkiri Province) and S Vietnam (S Annam).
