Taxonomy: Ornismya Helenæ DeLattre, 1843, Vera Paz, Guatemala.
Together with its sister species, L. adorabilis, formerly placed in a separate genus, Paphosia. Monotypic.
Distribution: S Mexico (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas) S to E Costa Rica.
