Spanish: Buco Barrado
Taxonomy: Bucco radiatus P. L. Sclater, 1854, Nova Grenada = Magdalena Valley, Colombia.
May form a superspecies with N. striolatus. Form described as race fulvidus is probably only a colour morph. Monotypic.
Distribution: C Panama E to W Colombia and S to W Ecuador.
