Taxonomy: Corvus striatus Boddaert, 1788, New Guinea; error = Luzon, Philippines.
Race dobsoni, considerably different from all others in plumage and proportions, also with different call, sometimes considered a full species; distinctive race vordermani may also merit elevation to species rank. Race cebuensis (from Cebu, in C Philippines) extinct. Fifteen extant subspecies recognized.

- dobsoni (Ball, 1872) - Andaman Is.
