Taxonomy: Anas (Fuligula) Baeri Radde, 1863, middle Amur Valley, eastern Siberia.
Considered by some to form superspecies with A. australis, A. nyroca and A. innotata. Monotypic.
Distribution: SE Siberia and NE China, perhaps N Korea.
