Spanish: Paloma de Andamán
Taxonomy: Carpophaga palumboides Hume, 1873, Port Mouat, Andaman Islands.
Possibly related to C. pulchricollis and relatives; said by some to form a link with the C. vitiensis species-group. Monotypic.
Distribution: Andaman and Nicobar Is.
