The picture may not be great, but the individual is well worth remembering!!. This particular individual moved around us with uncanny stealth moves including swimming across a river instead of flying over it to the other bank. The bird walked into the water until his body was carried downstream by the flow of the stream and then steered itself with wings opened over the surface,and doing a minimal amount of flapping, to prevent noisy splashing,across to the other embankment.
