Red Avadavat (Amandava amandava) photo
This red beauty is a very active bird and generally lives in flocks. It is found throughout India and seen regularly near my place where I live. Size - 10 cm.

Yes, I certainly like your first posting to the IBC. Please, keep uploading materials! You can notice in the picture the quality of your lens and camera. I find quite encouraging the considerable number of contributors from India that are participating in the IBC. My feeling is that India is already one of the countries better covered. Soon we will know for good, as the IBC will be incorporating country checklists.
